For Piper, I began with naming. Founder Justine knew that she wanted to incorporate the imagery of a rabbit, and to honour her Dutch heritage. I created the name Piper by marrying the names of her children, Pieter and Juniper. The cobalt blue accents are a nod to her Dutch background. The rabbit plays a pan-pipe to bridge the imagery and give the name a more tangible meaning.
